Miguel Castro, SAP
Miguel Castro is the Lead for Culture and Identity at the SAP Global Diversity and Inclusion Office. He has overall responsibility for issues concerning culture and ethnicity, as well as all topics related to the LGBT community. He is also the key contact for SAP’s 80+ Employee Network Groups worldwide.
Miguel is currently based in Madrid, Spain. He joined SAP in 2010, and was located in Berlin, Germany, having worked previously in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has over 16 years’experience in international business operations, consulting and business development for global companies, all within the SAP ecosystem. In parallel, he has led Employee Networks in several organizations.
He is very passionate about social engagement and frequently joins SAP’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts in the areas of skill development and social entrepreneurship.
Miguel earned a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Vigo in Spain, after having been an Erasmus exchange student at the University of Bremen, Germany.
